The Riot Before

A week before playing their last show with us, Freddy and Cory joined Jon and myself in our friend’s basement to film the performance portion of what will be the music video for the song The Middle Distance.  It was shot and directed by our good friend Dave O’dell, who was also the director of our video for We Are Wild Stallions.  Dave particularly loves gore and thriller type movies, and so this time rather than confine him to my idea and a restaurant, we let him do pretty much whatever he wanted with the video.  We talked a little about the themes of the song and how to maybe incorporate those ideas, but for the most part I just wanted Dave to be Dave.  

The video should be done shortly and I can’t wait for you all to see it.  Hell, I can’t wait to see it too.  I’ve heard there’s a bathtub full of (fake) blood involved.
